Ulisses w oryginale arcydzieło lieterackiego modernizmu

Pierwszy raz Ulissesa Joyce’a zaczęłam czytać jak miałam 17 lat . Przeczytałam 30 stron, znalazłam jedno genialne zdanie i się poddałam. Siedem lat później sięgnęłam ponownie po ten tytuł – już tym razem w oryginale i zaczęłam lekturę Ulysses’a od nowa. I skończyłam i nie bez satysfakcji. Nie ukrywam, że jest to książka do której trzeba dorosnąć. Moje ulubione fragmenty: History, Stephen said, is a nightmare from which I am trying to awake oraz British Beatitudes! … Beer, beef, business, bibles, bulldogs, battleships, buggery and bishops i wiele, wiele innych...
