Bilbo's Last Song - Ostatnia pieśń Bilba

Dzieło “Bilbo's Last Song” (tłumaczenie: „Ostatnia pieśń Bilba”) chyba nikomu nie trzeba “przedstawiać” ani polecać. Genialnego Hobbita z powieści J.R.R. Tolkiena Każdy na pewno bardzo dobrze zna. Jako ciekawostką mogę się pochwalić, że „Bilbo’s Last Song” jest cudownym wierszem, który dostał w prezencie sekretarz Tolkiena, Joy Hill. Było to w roku 1966. Po śmierci genialnego powieściopisarza wiersz został zobrazowany, została również dodana do niego muzyka. “Bilbo's Last Song” został wydany w formie plakatu w 1974 roku. Wszyscy wielbiciele i czytelnicy dzieł Tolkiena z pewnością odnaleźli owy wiersz w jednej z jego książek, widnieje on tam bowiem od 1990 roku. Jeśli jeszcze ktoś ma wątpliwości o jaka książkę chodzi, radzę jak najszybciej zapoznać się z tym wierszem, a wtedy na pewno będziecie wiedzieli. “Bilbo's Last Song” pomimo tego, że krótki jest równie genialny co całe dzieła pisarza.
